In addition to membership fees and donations, the Association is always looking for new ways to raise funds for programs, events, scholarships, etc. If you have an idea for a fundraiser, or wish to sponsor a fundraiser, please let us know.
Why Raise Funds?

It's not a well-known fact, but alumni risk large financial losses when they take on the responsibility of planning a reunion. Hotels require large deposits to hold blocks of rooms, book banquet halls and plan menus for all of the events. That's the reason early registration is so important to the planners. They need funds to meet the terms of their contracts. It's not usually a problem but it can be pretty stressful for the individuals who sign the documents.
To support the efforts of reunion and event planners as well as other programs, the Alumni Association will loan funds, as available, for deposits and other out-of-pocket costs. In exchange for this service, the Association requests that any excess funds from these events be donated to the organization in order to pay the service forward.
Membership fees and donations will help increase the fund, but more will always be needed.
