The Hawaii Dragons are a model of this plan. These Dragons organize frequent events and keep in touch on a regular basis. They are independent of the larger organization yet keep it informed. The plan is to emulate their close-knit community by identifying local and regional contacts who will coordinate the alumni that live in their areas. To do this, we must get class representatives and volunteers to coordinate their local chapters. The regional chapters will be: Northwest: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming Southwest: California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico Midwest: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan South Central : Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana Northeast: Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusets, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine Southeast: Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida Hawaii: All Islands Alaska/Canada Asia/Pacific Europe/Atlantic It will be the responsibilty of the regional chapters to identify and form local chapters if necessary.
